Sean Wotherspoon recently spoke with a French news outlet to showcase his upcoming collaboration. After his successful collaboration with Nike in 2018, the Round Two co-founder had stopped working with Nike on a what was supposed to be a successor of the Nike 97/1 and has been working on a three-way collab with Atmos and Asics. He initially teased the sneaker on October this year. He recently came on Caminotv to discuss and show the designs of the sneaker.
The base of the collab is an Asics GEL-Lyte III and Sean Wotherspoon has added his own touch using colourful corduroy construction as the upper. Which gives the shoe a similar look to his previous popular collab, the Nike 97/1. The video shoes the details that have been put into the shoe such as the Atmos logo and Sean’s logo hidden in the layer of fabric in the heel. Also the logo hits and the tongue patches are interchangeable using Velcro similar fashion to the Nike Air Force “Travis Scott” Sail. While it seems the shoe may also get extra laces to allow you to personalise the shoe even more to suit your style. The shoes are still samples and the designs aren’t entirely confirmed and there is no exact release date on the shoes.
