With the NBA season set to restart, images of the Harden Stepback 2 has surfaced online. The Harden Stepback series is the second budget signature line for James Harden.
Upper
The upper is a single-body upper meaning that it doesn’t feature a separate tongue. The base layer is made up of performance mesh which is re-enforced with two separate synthetic pieces. The largest overlay covers the side of the shoe for improved lateral containment and the second overlay is used as a external heel counter and houses Harden’s logo.
Midsole Cushion Set-up
Similar to last years model, the midsole consists of full-length Bounce foam. The Bounce foam in this edition is a solid piece which is expected to allow greater responsiveness and court feel.
Outsole
The outsole is a waffle pattern with the squares getting bigger as the pattern curves out.
Price and Release Date
The quality of the material used and the overall build is similar to the Harden Stepback so we speculate the price range to be around $80. The release date is currently unknown.
