Although the Nets guard, Kyrie Irving is out for the remainder of the season, his signature line is yet to slow down as the 7th edition of his signature line was leaked.
Upper
The upper material is made up of engineered mesh, considering the Kyrie 6 featured a synthetic leather back, the Kyrie 7 is a step down in terms of quality of materials. The overall build of the upper is similar to the Kyrie 5, so expect a similar fit.
The Kyrie line has always explored new ways of lockdown of the foot to facilitate Kyrie’s aggressive cuts and quick stops. This time the Kyrie 7 features two TPU pieces on the lateral side of the forefoot for additional lockdown and improved lateral containment.
Midsole Cushion Set-up
The Kyrie 7 will feature the same cushion set-up as the Kyrie 5 and 6 as it features a Zoom Turbo unit on the forefoot. Zoom Turbo which is a articulated Zoom unit is specifically made to suit the curved outsole of the Kyrie line. The welding channels across the Zoom unit allows greater flexability allowing the Zoom unit to provide responsiveness across all directions.
Outsole
Due to lack of images the outsole pattern is difficult to determine.
Price and Release Date
Rumours have stated that the price of the Kyrie 7 will remain unchanged from the Kyrie 6. Release dates are yet to be announced.
