With the temperature dropping and the festive season starting to take shape, New Balance is celebrating Christmas with a special colourway of The Kawhi. With Kawhi Leonard set to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas day, its more than perfect to release a Christmas-themed colourway.
The colourway uses a range of cool hues across the upper. Over the light blue base, darker shades of blue are used on the toe and the heel. The midfoot embroidery panel also has layers of different shades of blue adding more depth and detail into the colourway. On the white tongue, features the claws of a snowman(Yeti) holding a basketball; a reference to Kawhi Leonard’s nickname “The Klaw”. Under the metallic midsole, a blue icy outsole completes the “Snowman” look of The Kawhi.
The Kawhi “Snowman” colourway is set to release on the 11th of December for $150.
