AIR JORDAN XXXV OFFICIAL RELEASE

Jordan Brand has finally announced the 5 colourways of the Air Jordan 35 that will release across the remaining year. The AJ35 takes its look from the Air Jordan 5 as a way of celebrating its 30th anniversary. Combined with the Flightwire on the side, the AJ35 holds a retro-futuristic design. Its main technological focus is the cushioning. The Eclipse plate, which was first introduced on the AJ34, has been upgraded with larger Zoom units and wraps around the lateral side higher than before for improved support.

The “Centre of Gravity” colourway officially debuts the AJ35. Composed of wolf grey, navy and hints of neon yellow and bright red, the “Centre of Gravity” colourway is strikingly similar to the KD 4 “Nerf” colourway. The “Center of Gravity” is set to release globally on the 17th of October.

After getting a general release on his AJ34 PEs, Rui Hachimura has had another chance to design his own colourway with the AJ35. This time inspired by his Japanese culture from his mother’s side. The colourway captures his warrior spirit on the court and his samurai inspired Kanji logo. The colourway consists of blood red and black, almost looking like a “Bred” colourway if it wasn’t for the cement grey outsole. The “Warrior” colourway is set to drop on the 21st of October.

AJ 35 “DNA” looks to capture the intensity of the 90s, a era in which Micheal Jordan dominated. Featuring a clean white base, with black overlays, the colourway features hints of red on the tongue and exposed Zoom bags in the Eclipse plate. This colourway is set to release on the 11th of November.

The “Bayou Boys” colourway is designed by Jordan athlete Zion Williamson. As Zion has found a new home in the city of New Orleans, this colourway celebrates the city’s diversity. The upper overlays are constructed of crackled flaux-gator leather and features a dark green marbled Eclipse plate. The colourway is finished off with a clean gum outsole. The “Bayou Boys” colourway will release on the 30th of November.

As the first Chinese basketball player to be signed by Jordan Brand, Guo Ailun has constantly had his PE released to the general public. This year is no exception as the “Morpho” colourway, which symbolises the grace of a butterfly, is inspired by his smooth play style. This colourway is set to release on the 24th of December.
