Micheal Jordan has had a special connection with Paris. Ever since he visited the city in 1985, Jordan and his brand has continued to build a strong relationship with the city. Paris is the city with Jordan Brand’s first European store and the city to hold the world’s biggest streetball tournament the Quai 54 which is sponsored by Jordan Brand. The city’s relationship with Jordan Brand has allowed many colourways inspired by the “City of Light” to be released. The 35th signature shoe of Micheal Jordan is no exception as a colourway dedicated to Paris was officially announced.
The pale ivory synthetic leather upper is mixed with the Flightwire overlaid on the side panel and toe box, which discreetly exposes the floral graphic underneath. The floral graphic continues inside the shoe with the inner lining and insoles featuring roses. The highlight of the midsole is the marbled Eclipse plate which exposes the articulated forefoot Zoom unit and the heel Zoom unit. The colourway is finished off with a solid pink outsole, capturing Paris’ elegance. Little details are added to point pack to the city, as Paris’ area number ’75’ is printed on the side and the tags on the heel read ‘Paname’ a nickname given to the city.
With only 102 pairs set to release, the Air Jordan 35 “Paris” is set to be a extremely limited colourway.
