Following the official images of the Kyrie 7 “ASW”, the Kobe 6 Proto will also join the pack with a throwback All-Star colourway. The colourway dates back to the 2011 All-Star Weekend that was staged in Los Angeles. Playing on his home court, Kobe was able to put up an incredible performance scoring 37 points and posting 14 rebounds in 29 minutes. He was later crowned the All-Star MVP that night.
The colourway takes inspiration from the All-Star jerseys, it uses a palette of red and white to match the ones that were worn by Kobe and the Western Conference team. Additional details including the laces, which nods back to the year and the location the All-Star game was played. Reference to the All-Star game continues down the insole with reference to the game printed in red and white.
The colourway is expected to be limited as always and will release on the 20th of February for $180.
