New Balance is releasing a colourway to celebrate Kawhi Leonard’s return to his California roots through the release of a mismatch colourway. The main colours being salmon pink and melon yellow, the colourway gives off California’s vibrant summer basketball colours and bright sunshine. Each pair uses the main colour of the other pair as a secondary colour to highlight the laces and lace eyelids. The mismatch pairs give off a similar yet contrasting look through the identically black midsole and outsole.
The “First Light” colourway is set to drop through NTWRK exclusively on July 7th and drops on New Balance web stores on July 9th. These pairs are priced at $140.
