After a render image of the Curry 8 was leaked, an actual image with the box design and packaging has been released. This particular colourway the “24K”, features a clean white upper and midsole with gold accents on the heel and overlays. The details are concentrated on the external heel counter, with “ICDATSC30” printed at the top. The “ICDAT” is an acronym for “I can do all things” a quote from the Bible which keeps Steph motivated everyday and hopes to inspire others to do the same. The “SC30” stands for his name Stephen Curry, and his number 30. The “24K” colourway in particular features 5 stars with only 3 stars filled in. This represents Stephen Curry’s underdog mentality since high school as he was ranked a 3 star recruit coming into college.
While there hasn’t been a official release date announced for the Curry 8s, these are expected to release during the 20-21 NBA season which is expected to start around the end of December.
