In the midst of uncertainty on whether All-Star Weekend will commence, Nike is still planning on releasing ASW colourways for their signature athletes. The latest player to receive his ASW colourway is Kyrie Irving, who’s been playing exceptionally well in Brooklyn.
The Kyrie 7 “ASW” will take a new approach by having sustainability in mind. The TPU fingers on the forefoot and the Nike Swoosh on the side use Nike Grind Rubber to reduce the use of virgin materials. The mesh on the tongue also looks to be made of recycled material. The Kyrie logo with a leaf on the top highlights the sustainable approach the Kyrie 7 is taking with this particular colourway.
So far it seems like the colourway will be only available for the youth as GS, PS and TDV. The colourways are expected to be released prior to ASW.
