Debuted by Draymond Green during the Christmas games, more Converse athletes such as Shai and Kelly Oubre have been seen wearing the Converse All Star BB Shift. From the overall low cut and lightweight silhouette, it looks to be the successor to the All Star BB Evo.
The low cut mesh upper features “Leno-weave” fabric panels. “Leno-weave” is a weaving pattern that can also be found on the AJXXXVI. The weaving technique allows for the fabric upper to be “strong, lightweight and adaptable to all kinds of shapes”. The “leno-weave” fabric panels can be seen along the lateral side around the midfoot and forefoot. Around the back, an external heel counter is added for additional lockdown.
The midsole will feature an Air Zoom unit on the forefoot around what looks to be a standard EVA midsole. The forefoot area of the midsole is covered by the upper mesh with a TPU plate attached on the side for lateral containment.
The outsole features a wavy geometric pattern similar to the Harden Vol.5. However, clearer images of the outsole will need to be released to confirm the traction pattern.
