When Giannis’ first signature shoe came out, the shoe line was initially introduced as a low-end signature shoe. However, as Giannis progressed as a player winning MVPs and Final MVPs, his sneakers have seen an improvement in the past few years. With images of the Zoom Freak 4 available, it looks to be the most technologically advanced signature shoe out of the Zoom Freak signature line.
The upper features a low-cut design with a mixture of mesh and fuse. The toe box and the heel features a closely knitted mesh for support. The forefoot area is covered by open cell mesh for breathability. The overexaggerated reverse swoosh also covers the lateral side for lateral containment.
The midsole is structured similarly to the Zoom Freak 3 with the standard midsole foam being replaced by an improved foam. The grooves on the side of the midsole indicate the possibility of React foam. Like the Zoom Freak 3, the forefoot area is covered by two Zoom Air pods.
The images of the outsole are yet to be released. However, a major improvement that can be seen is an outrigger on the outsole, increasing stability compared to the Zoom Freak 3.
